How Does Pet CBD Work?
CBD is a naturally occurring compound present in hemp plants. When this cannabinoid is ingested it reacts with your pet's Endocannabinoid System (ECS) through the Cannabinoid Receptors called CB1 & CB2 to create positive actions in the body.
What's the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?
The ECS in all animals helps to maintain a healthy, natural internal balance. It communicates with cannabinoid receptors (CB1 & CB2) using its own endocannabinoid molecules that it produces naturally.
However, early studies now show that when pain or illness occurs, the ECS can be assisted by Phyto cannabinoids (plant cannabinoids), including Cannabidiol (CBD).
When we add support to our ECS with CBD the cannabinoid receptors action in the same way as the body's natural molecules. This then triggers many natural reactions from the ECS and is why CBD can combat so many ailments, changing the quality of life for pets globally.
